Come race a sailboat with us this winter!

Photos by Robert Di Vincenzo We sail in Dyer Dhows--a nine foot single-sailed dinghy. The Dyer is a strong boat with high sides that keep our sailors dry under most conditions. We have both a regular sail and a storm sail--so we are able to sail in as much as 20 knots of breeze. Our season starts in November and runs through April. A membership entitles you to more than 30 days of racing, three regattas, coaching sessions, informal team races and regular after-sailing parties. Here are Ten Great Reasons to come sail with our fleet: 1. You'll improve your racing skills. This site contains information about membership in our fleet, our schedule, our class rules, photos of our boats in action, and our season standings. We sail out of Beach Point Yacht club in Mamaroneck. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the north shore of Long Island Sound. For directions to the club, click directions here or at the left. It is only 45 minutes from New York by car or Metro North train. We welcome new members to our fleet.
